VITAMIN B6 (from Pyridoxine Hydrochloride)

Vitamin B-6: An important coenzyme for the intermediary metabolism of amino acids and in the formation of serotonin, dopamine and adrenalin, responsible for the biosynthesis of hemoglobin, functions in fat metabolism and the transport of amino acids into the cellular interior. Reaction in the brain forms gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA), a neural transmitter.
